EDIT Policies
EDIT Inc. was formed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for Twelve Step groups, their families and their friends to perform twelve step work and to socialize.
We believe the policies below are good manners, common sense and in consideration for others. As members of EDIT, we ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner according to these policies adopted by the Board of Directors.
- No disrespect to EDIT Board Members, management or personnel while enforcing these policies.
- No weapons, drugs or alcohol allowed on these premises.
- No threats, violence, verbal or physical abuse, or loud profanity.
- No jokes, sexual harassment or behavior or remarks that are demeaning or offensive to people regarding their gender, race, color, creed, or sexual orientation. “NO” means NO. “STOP” means STOP.
- Children ages 14 and under are allowed with a parent or other designated adult supervision. However, the parent will be held responsible if the designated adult provides to be an unreliable overseer.
- Children Must Be Under Adult Supervision At All Times. Any parent receiving two warnings will not be allowed to bring that child to the club.
- No children behind the coffee bar.
- No child supervision by EDIT personnel.
- No pets allowed other than service animals which must be on a leash at all times.
- No defacing or destroying EDIT property.
- No vagrancy or panhandling.
- No removal of EDIT property without the permission of the Board of Directors, or management.
® No smoking. No cooking.
- No double parking, or parking in “marked” designated spaces or in the East Lot. The vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Failure to follow these policies may result in being asked to leave or be removed from the premises and suspended from club attendance by the manager for 30 days or until the next regular meeting of the Board of EDIT Inc. Suspension will increase or end, depending on the behavior of the individual or individuals involved.
