Our Speakers will be:
Gary O. (Daily Reprieve)
Dottie R. (Mid-Day Open)
Please join us at 7PM for two of the finest AA’ers speaking about their experiences and growth through AA.
Beginning next May we are going to feature speaker’s from all groups that follow the 12 Step guidance of the book of Alcohol Anonymous.
Each year in December, Edit members elect new Board members to replace those whose terms will expire at the end of the year. Members are members (and can be Board Members) if they consider that they have a home group (AA, CA, Al-Anon) at Edit and want to vote or stand/run for a Board position.
If you wish to stand/run for a Board slot, please sign your name to a list being set at the Coffee Bar.
If you wish to vote, please attend the Edit Open House set for the weekend of December 13, 2019 (during normal hours). Voting (and the Open House) begins Friday and runs until Sunday @ 2PM when the votes will be tallied.
Edit will provide Turkey and Ham during the Open House and donated sides and deserts would be appreciated.
Meetings will be held as scheduled during this time so come for fellowship, meetings, and voting!
If you don’t know what the Board does, please feel free to attend the November 25th meeting at Edit at 7PM
We recently received this thank you and believe it represents why we exist and why we will continue and strive to do this for you.
Rebecca A. (Ladies Choice 9yrs)
Myles (Daily Reprieve 7yrs)
Think you can make a better chili than the next person in AA? Try your hand at the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off at Edit and try to win the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Prize Trophy. Judging is done by voting by participants and attendees.
This is held in conjunction with the District 19 Game Night/Workshop so bring your chili before the start of the Game Night (beginning about 1:30) and maybe some finger food to enjoy as well.
An example of the award. It’s about 8 inches tall.
Establishing a tradition of presenting a fun way to learn or gain experience in AA, District 19 is hosting a game night (really early in the night!) where you can join a team, answer questions about AA (and learn the one’s you don’t know) and even earn PRIZES. It’s being held in conjunction with Edit’s 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off so bring some finger food or your best chili for all to enjoy!
Come hear experiences from a relative newcomer to AA and someone who has been attending for 22 years. They both have great stories to relate and with which you can relate:
- Jeanette B. (It’s in the Book – 22 years)
- Clay B. (Spirit Of Recovery – 1 year)
Our excellent speakers are:
Linda C. – Edit Alanon 10yrs
Diane D. Steamboat Seagulls 25yrs
See you there!!
